Under Weight Loss
Mono Unsaturated Fats
Can Fat Make You Skinnier? Well according to a scientific study, people who ate a diet that was rich in mono unsaturated fats lost more belly fat, and more weight, then those who kept to the same calorie count, but nixed the healthy fats.
Mono Unsaturated fats come from plant sources like avacados, olive oil, and nuts. We have long suspected that all fats are not the same. Of course, we want to avoid saturated fats, of the delicous kind that used to be found in french fries, and the big bad trans fats that used to be f
ound in margarine, etc. You can read labels now, and mostly avoid the bad fats. The thing is, food that does not come with a label, like avacadoes and fresh nuts, probably don’t need one. Go ahead and enjoy and enjoy nature’s bounty!

Under Beauty
This is the time of year when we love to outside and spend time in the sunshine. The problem is, no matter how careful we are with sunscreen, we are bound to get a little to much exposure at one time or another. We do have a great, soothing preparation you can make at home. It is cooling and good for your skin too!
Go here for the Homemade Sunburn Relief Recipe, and you’ll see it only takes a couple of minutes to whip up. This preparation only needs yogurt and honey, and then a warm cloth to wash it off with. Even if you avoid a sunburn, you can use it for a cooling facial any time you like.

Under Allergies
Natural Allergy Relief is Cheap Too
I don’t like to take most of the over the counter allergy remedies, but my symptoms make me miserable for several weeks in the spring and fall. I don’t like some of the side effects of commercial allergy medicines, and I really don’t like the cost either.
Raw Honey For Allergies
Take a daily dose of raw, natural honey every day. This will help your body build up a tolerance to the local pollens. Gradually increase the does every day until you are taking in a teaspoon. Continue this through the allergy season.
